• Question: Have you ever encounted plastic polluted waters?

      Unfortunately yes! I’ve seen it throughout the rivers & canals, beaches and when I’ve been out at sea. We even saw plastic pollution thought our camera that we dropped to the sea floor in the northern Atlantic Ocean which was 3,000m deep!

    Unfortunately like Stephanie there is a lot of plastic waste on the beaches and in the rivers around Dundee. There is a lovely beach across the water from Dundee where there are seals and dolphins and we have a group of volunteers who help collect the litter to stop it polluting the river. It is really sad to see all of the rubbish and worrying when you think about how long plastic stays in the environment for!
