I try to stay active and healthy when I can. It can sometimes be tricky to fit it in when my job is busy but exercise is a really important way for me to stay happy. I walk our dog twice everyday which is a great way for me to get outside. I really love cooking too, so I try to cook healthy meals where I can but when we’re short of time I’m always tempted by take away 😉
I eat quite healthy but with the pandemic, I don’t exercise as much as I should. I can be quite mentally active but physically lazy, which isn’t great to be honest. I do have a garden that I battle each year, which gives me some fresh air and exercise.
Yes….I cycle and walk whenever I can and I use steps rather than lifts and escalators. I also do 15 minutes of exercise (light circuits) every day and I make sure I eat salad, vegetables and oily fish. I love cheese, cake and biscuits so I watch my weight….when its below 75kg I can eat as much cake as I like. When its above 75kg I need to eat less cake and more lettuce!
