Question: Are the boats you go on safe for the environment?

Yes, the boats we use to travel the oceans and do our experiments are safe to be on. We usually live on them for about 2 months at a time. As well as all of the labs they have a canteen, gym and bar on board! We do have to do lots of training before we go as we’re a long way from land and we have to wear lots of protective clothing like hard hats to keep us safe whilst working.
