About Me:
I’m an astrophysics researcher who studies the largest structures in the universe. Outside of my job, I love taking part in tennis competitions, cooking new recipes and playing video games!
-
My Typical Day:
I spend most of my day using computer simulations to look at how groups of galaxies are linked to one another. I also regularly speak to the scientists who are in charge of the telescope that we use, so that we can discuss ways to improve the observations.
-
What I'd do with the prize money:
Encourage disadvantaged children who are interested in STEM to access a telescope that is available for public use. The money could be used to train the students to get images of astronomical objects (planets, stars, galaxies etc) with a printout to take home.
